What's the word for when you're not illiterate but you cannot understand or explain word definitions?

Cuz like, I've realized that I sound like I'm really well versed in English and I use really big words but I only know them from context clues- I've read them before.

And yeah, english is my first language, but I don't understand it. like at all. it doesn't make sense to me and I don't understand definitions of anything. I can't explain a word to someone, and I definitely can't have it explained to me. I relate words to different senses/emtions and that is the only way I can define them.

homestuck was so perfect for autistic teenagers bc it took characters being sorted into categories and having Attributes to its absolute extreme. forget four hogwarts houses, every character has their associated colour their zodiac sign their associated animal their dream planet their god tier class and aspect their typing quirk their pesterchum handle their weapon their planet of x and y, as well as each of them having a handful of other very quantifiable Personality Traits and Interests (e.g. this one is a clown this one is angry this one likes fashion this one is just rufio from hook for some reason) and THEN they all also have their respective ancestors and dancestors(?)(plucked that word from my memory) who have all of those things as WELL

and god not to mention the fucking quadrant system

as a 13-15 year old autistic kid i didnt even need homestuck to have a plot i just happily made a big big spreadsheet of character attributes in my brain

shout out to my fellow struggling people who are still sitting in the same bedroom they grew up in. the ones who can't get a job, can't make new friends, can't find a partner or partners, can't move house and can't go to school.

This line made me fucking feral. This show has been such an elevation of the source material.

Armand will do anything to be loved. He will do whatever it takes. He’s so beautiful and so lethal and so tragic. “You’re going to teach me how to be fascinating” is such a succinct window into who he is as a character. It’s both a threat and a desperate plea for help. Fine! Perhaps I’m boring. I’ll learn to be fascinating. Louis will love me if I’m fascinating. And you’re going to make that happen for me. Or else.

question: do ppl ACTUALLY say things they don’t mean when they’re angry? or is that just an excuse after letting something true slip? i wouldn’t ever say something i don’t mean in anger, so the concept confuses me.

but something was said to me that is bothering me, though apparently was said in an argument and wasn’t meant. but i don’t rlly believe it wasn’t like, deep down true thoughts/feelings??? anyone have any insight? anyone say things they don’t mean in anger?

also re: the many ppl saying “OP is lying about not saying things they don’t mean in anger because everyone does it”— i genuinely have never done that. if i say something mean while angry, i meant it. that’s literally why i asked this question and why the concept confuses me, because i wouldn’t do something like that so i wanted perspective from people who do it. idk why y’all can’t believe that lmao not everyone is as prone to anger and outbursts
